Board Certified Podiatrist

Daniel C. Longo, DPM, FACFAS, is a skilled foot and ankle surgeon at Hudson Valley Foot Associates, serving patients in Kingston, New Windsor, Wappingers Falls, Hudson, and West Coxsackie, New York. He is known for his caring bedside manner and attention to detail. His individualized approach to patient care makes him a well sought-after provider at Hudson Valley Foot Associates.

A lifelong Hudson Valley resident, Dr. Longo attended Kingston High School and was an accomplished athlete in soccer, football, and wrestling. Before earning his medical degree from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, he even won a Section IX Championship in wrestling.

He remained in Philadelphia to complete three years of residency training, including one year at Neumann Medical Center. Dr. Longo then returned to Kingston, New York, to serve as Chief Surgical Resident for the Podiatric Surgical Residency Program at Benedictine Hospital.

Dr. Longo became the first podiatrist to complete a surgical residency at Benedictine Hospital and has since become an attending surgeon. He has offered training to dozens of podiatrists who come to complete their surgical training in the very same program he helped trailblaze.

Dr. Longo dedicates his time and efforts to advancing youth sports in the Hudson Valley. He has organized, administrated, and coached lacrosse, soccer, and flag football and has tirelessly fundraised to ensure the success of the sports programs. Dr. Longo is a “do-it-all” podiatrist, performing surgery, working at the local wound care centers, and treating patients in-office with every type of foot and ankle condition imaginable. He is most proud of working with young athletes with sports injuries and helping them stay on the field.

Dr. Longo is a proud diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons, board-certified in foot surgery by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and serves as the lead surgical podiatrist at The Wound Healing Center at Kingston Hospital.

What patients love about Dr. Longo is his easygoing, fun-loving personality. Each patient gets special attention and feels cared for both professionally and personally. Dr. Longo happily lives in Kingston with his wife Vikki and is the proud dad of four.

- Keith L.

“Dr. Longo was knowledgeable and personable. I felt completely comfortable and confident that I had chosen the right doctor. He had me look at the x-ray with him and answered every question I had. Excellent.”
- Gail W.

“I have been going to Dr. Longo since 2006. I have had many foot problems, some that required surgery, that Dr. Longo has satisfactorily solved and I could not be happier with my results each and every time I have been there. I have also had some of the other doctors that work with Dr. Longo and in each case the outcome was positive. Even if I had another doctor from the office, I was always confident that Dr. Longo was in on a consultation to decide the course of action. Absolutely grateful that because of Dr. Longo I am still standing and walking on my feet!”
- Rita B.

“Dr. Longo has my full confidence. He is pleasant, thoughtful and does his work well.”
- Paulie P.
