Dr Kim is an amazing doctor. He is knowledgeable, and has an excellent bedside manner. He is compassionate and extremely patient. He takes his time to explain and gives you options. In the past, I had several foot surgeries and no other doctor had treaded me with so much care.

I love my trips to the Hudson Valley Foot Associates. Appointments are an easy in and out. Parking in back of building which also has an elevator for those that can’t do steps. Dr. Tumen identified the issue right away and spoke to me about the anatomy involved, causes of my discomfort, and ways to treat it. I never felt like he was speaking down to me or "dumbing down" the information. At first I tried to " walk it off " but with months of discomfort and a upcoming trip of a lifetime, something had to be done. Dr. Keller was recommend by a family member, so I took the faith. Within several minutes Dr. K, diagnosis the problem and gave me two cortisone shot's in my ankle. Fifteen minutes later I was walking with very little pain.
Visiting Rome was remarkable, what was more remarkable I was averaging about 15K in steps as we toured Europe over the next two weeks.

My assessment of Dr. Longo's is valid, I think, but not crucial enough to affect his continued employment. I have been going to Dr. Longo somewhat over a year for very routine treatment, mostly keeping my toenails in trim. My impression is that he is very detached and pro forma about my foot care and that it is a very quick, business-like service. This is in notable contrast to my previous long-time podiatrist, Dr. Jonathan Sumber, who retired. Since my foot problems are few, I don't think my reactions to Dr. Longo are crucial enough to affect his employment status, but I do wish he projected a more caring professional personality. and that my husband and I were not treated simply as transient "customers." Actually, I would like us to be transferred to Dr. Tumen, who projects a different sort of open and caring attitude when I hear him on the radio.

The only problem I have is that the Dr. told me he wants to see me in two weeks to redo my x-ray. The front desk told they could only do 4 weeks. That makes me very nervous since I'm still in a lot of pain. Then they called and tried to reschedule that one for 5 weeks out. I don't have to see the same doctor. I just want to follow the doctor's orders. Makes me very nervous.

I don't see how a visit of such routine care merits an actual review: Dr. Longo simply cuts my toenails at each visit, something that is difficult for me to do on my own. While he performs this duty efficiently, it is a cursory performance. We do not have the kind of personal rapport and exchange I experienced with my previous podiatrist of many years. who retired. Though courteous, the doctor seems rushed.

Was able to get an appointment on relatively short notice for what appeared to be gout. X-rays revealed pain and redness could also have been arthritis related. Dr. Tumen suggested two injections rather than taking pills as recuperation time would be much quicker--and, although the injections were painful, much relief was provided within two days. He also prescribed a uric acid blood test, which confirmed it was gout. Dr. Tumen and all the staff were very professional and I am very pleased with the practice.

I saw Dr. Kim on an urgent visit. I had pain and redness in one toe on my right foot and was concerned that I might have an infection. His diagnosis was no infection, but a small problem with the toenail which he trimmed and irritation to the tip of the toe from walking most likely in a new pair of shoes that changed my gait.

dr. longo was thorough in explaining the procedure and post instructions, asked if i had any questions. i thought he had great beside manor. HE UTILIZED Infection control technique ( ppe - gloves ) appropriately. i especially am grateful for allowing time for pain management. it was a good experience.
what i did not appreciate was the week before during a snowstorm when the office closed no one contacted me to tell me my appt . was canceled.
Another practice that is not communicated to patients is when seen in wound care, the residents come in to the room and another insurance claim and copay is billed in addition to wound care doctor and copay.
